Born October 13, 1929 in Mt. Savage, Maryland, he was the son of the late Herman and Della Steele.
Pete is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma; two sons: Larry and wife, Sharon of Falling Waters, and Francis and wife, Della of Stedman, North Carolina; one daughter, Dianna Kopyta and husband, John of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; two brothers: George and James Steele of Mt. Savage, Maryland; and one sister, Emma Kirby, of Mt. Savage, Maryland.
Pete had retired from WD Byron of Williamsport, Maryland. Where he had worked 26 years.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Steele.
