Chastity Raeanne James-Martinez

Chastity Raeanne James-Martinez 37 moved on to heaven December 2, 2021. She was a lifelong resident and member of the Tulalip Tribes. Chaz was born August 31, 1984 in Everett, WA. She is survived by her husband Phillip Martinez of 24 years, her children Antonio 23, Alicia 14, and Ava 11. Chastity was a devoted wife and mother, she took great pride in her children. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, art, loving on her fur babies. She loved Mother Nature, making memories with family, and BBQ’ing was her favorite time of the year.

Proceeded in death by: Mother Kathy James, Father Dennis Crawford, Grandma’s Virginia James, Lori Lucas, Grandpa’s Ambrose James, Lyle Crawford, Great Grandpa’s Filmore James, Paul Solmon, Great Grandma’s Clara James, Mary Lucas, Uncles Mike and Johnny James, Great Uncles Cyrus “Big Shot” and Kermit James, Aunties Ronell and Cynthia Crawford and Melodie McNabb, Uncle Troy Crawford. Great aunt Elaine Charlie. Cousins Dave James (Peanut), Alfreda Johnny, Alberta Johnny, Crystal Cooper, Mathew Crawford, and Troy Blatchford Jr.

Surviving family, her husband, children, mother in law Carla Reese, brother in law Joseph and Ben Martinez, Aunts Elaida Charlie, Paula Satiacum, Clarissa Johnny, Uncles Ambrose James Jr. and Andy (Sharon) James, cousins Elizabeth, Francis, Andrew Comenote, Tatiana Crawford, Christina Williams, Marvin Edwards, Brandon Oshorn. Pamela, Edith, Merle, Albert Johnny Father figure Henry, Marjorie, and June Dufresne. Special neighbor Rhonda Gobin and many more family and friends who will miss Chaz.

A funeral service for Chastity will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tulalip Gathering Hall, 7512 Totem Beach Rd, Tulalip, WA 98271. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mission Beach Cemetery, Mission Beach Rd, Tulalip, WA 98271.
