Eric Dwain Andrews

Eric Andrews was born on October 10, 1969, in El Cajon, California and passed away on December 10, 2025, in Marysville, Washington. In his younger years, Eric proudly served his country in the Army National Guard with a tank company. He went on to build a long and successful career at Panasonic Avionics, where he worked for nearly 20 years as an MTS-V Software Engineer.

Eric had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting, four wheeling through the Cascade Mountains in his beloved Jeep, and spending time on the ocean boating and salmon fishing in the Puget Sound. When he wasn’t outside, Eric would often be found playing video games and exploring different forms of technology. Above all, Eric was a devoted father to his daughter, Mackenzie, and a caring, loyal member of his family.

He is survived by his mother, Keiko Shimanaka; his father, Donald Andrews, and stepmother Janine; his daughter, Mackenzie Andrews; his sisters Regina Andrews; Sonya Burdick and her husband Cameron, and their sons Skylar and Gabe; Emily Voce and her husband Justin, and their daughter Charlotte; and his brother Greg Andrews and his wife Natalie, and their children Oliver and Acadia.

A celebration of his life will be held, Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 at 11 AM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville.
