

Mom/Jean was born in Missoula Montana 1/15/41 to Wayne & Mae Chaplin. The Family including older Sister Anna Mae moved to the northwest when Anna Mae & Jean were young.
Jean was Married to her loving husband Thomas Frances Long for 44 years. During their marriage they enjoy spending time with the large family surrounding them. They also enjoyed camping and traveling to Montana to spend time with her sister and family.
Thomas Long preceded her in Death along with oldest stepson Anthony Long. Jean spent most of her life residing in the Pacific Northwest for 70 plus years. In Jean's earlier years she enjoyed being in a bowling league with long time friend Joan Norton.
Most recently Mom/Jean enjoyed spending time with visiting family and watching the Seahawks games with family. She saw the Seahawks Super Bowl Victory in Feb 2026. At the beginning of the game, Mom sang the National Anthem with all her heart.
Jean is survived by her children: Bob, Paul, Maria, Martin, Tommy, Tonia and many Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. Family & Friends are invited to Memorial Services at Saint Brendan’s Catholic church May 22nd 2026 @ 11am.
Mom/Jean was loved by all and will be truly missed as she is in the Lord’s loving arms.
