John met his loving wife Myrna 17 years ago while working at the Tulalip Resort. He leaves behind 7 children, 11 grandchildren and along with Myrna raised 7 more children. He also leaves behind his brother Albert; sisters Lily and Alice, sister-in-laws Sharon, Marilyn, brother-in-law Cy and numerous nephews and nieces. John was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Wayne and sister-in-law Holly. He made many friends while working at Boom City and The Tulalip Resort Casino. He will be dearly missed by all.
Prayer service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1 PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home. Interfaith service will follow at 6 PM at the Tulalip Tribal Gym. Funeral Service Saturday at 10 AM at the Tulalip Tribal Gym. Burial at Mission Beach Cemetery.
