

John was born in Woodland, WA Oct 1, 1936. His family moved to Conway, WA where he lived until he joined the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
John was a construction Electrician for 42 years. He was also a commercial pilot and built RC airplanes, loved fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. In 1970, John started to build a personal experiment aircraft and in 1975 took his first long test flight to Oshkosh, WI.
Two weeks prior to his passing, John and His wife Rhoda Peel celebrated 5 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his Wife Rhoda Jane Peel, his sisters Jeannette Holland (George) and Bonnie Cook (Dennis), his brother Robert Peel(Ernestine), his daughter, Minta Allen; his sons, Dale Peel (Sherry), and Dennis Peel, several grand children and great-grandchildren, and preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Elsie Peel.
Services will be held at Bethany Covenant Church of Mount Vernon on November 10th 2012 at 1pm.
