

Born on November 25, 1924 to Thomas and Mary Dominic, both who emigrated from Italy after WWI.
Josephine was the second of five children, all raised in Leetonia, a small town in Ohio. She had one younger sister, Lena, and three brothers: Frank, Tony and Fred.
Josephine and Richard were married in Salem, Ohio in September 1947. Jo and Dick had five children: Patty, Gene, David, and twins, Jimmy and Jerry. Her children were the loves of her life. Jo’s six grandchildren made her smile and shine when she saw them. They always had a great time together.
She had a deep faith in her religion and went to church faithfully, making friends wherever she went.
Always on the go, she worked as a checker in the grocery business for 40 years before retiring in Portland. Jo and Dick then moved to Marysville, Washington where she resided for almost 30 years.
She loved to cook, socialize, host holiday and family gatherings, and was always ready to help.
Preceded in death by husband Richard (1996), and sons, Gene (1950) and Jimmy (2014). Jo is survived by three children, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was held at St. Lucy’s Church in San Jose, California on February 5th. Josephine will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Marysville, Washington (4200 88th Street NE) on Monday, February 9th where a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
