24, 2022, in Marysville, WA. She joins Larry, her beloved husband of 67 years, in the
sweet hereafter.
Linda was born on April 15, 1932 to Sydney and Chloris Wahl in
Everett, WA. She grew up in Everett and enjoyed assisting her father in his pharmacist
duties. She graduated from Everett High School and spent two years at Everett
Community College where she met and was smitten with Larry. They would eventually
be married on June 13, 1953. Linda leaves behind her five children; Terry, her daughter,
and sons Brian with partner Veronika, Kurt, Roger and wife Dennielle, Glenn and wife
Lorelei, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Linda was the consummate homemaker, enjoying her time raising and participating in
her children’s upbringing. When the children grew up and left, her love of dogs took their
places at the family home. She had a fondness for things purple, Wheel of Fortune, as
well as forget-me-nots. She was a devoted and adored volunteer at the “Twig” shop at
Providence Hospital for over forty years. During their course of residing in Marysville,
WA for 60 years, Linda and Larry were active members of the United Methodist Church.
She selflessly volunteered at church functions and was known to stay until the last of
the dishes were washed. She assisted with Kloz 4 Kidz, and was very involved in the
United Methodist Women’s activities. The church community has been an integral part
in their lives.
A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church, 5600 64th St NE,
Marysville, WA on Tuesday, March 29 at 3 pm. The memorial may be viewed on-line
