Marcia Marie Horne

Marcia Marie Horne Moses was born in Darrington, WA on April 15, 1960 to parents Kenneth Moses Sr and Theresa (Joseph) Moses, passed away on December 24, 2024 surrounded by family. Marcia grew up in Darrington, where she attended school and graduated in 1978.

Marcia worked for The Tulalip Tribes for 31 years, in the Human Resources field where she started out at as a specialist, moving up to manager and eventually Director of Human Resources for Quil Ceda Village. She loved knitting, she learned how to knit at an early age and utilized this skill to make money before she was old enough to work.

Marcia was a spiritual healer that helped many people, she was a humble giver. She was a loving mother, loving aunt, loving grandmother, she loved everyone, helped countless people, she was a very special woman who will be missed by many.

Marcia leaves behind her husband of 43 years Manny Horne; two children, Clayton (Alicia) Horne, and Danielle (Leroy) Jimmy; four grandchildren; siblings Lyle Moses, Susan Moses, and Myra (Randy) Hudson; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Kenny and Theresa Moses; brothers, Russell Moses, Kenneth (Carolyn) Moses Jr.; Sisters, Lena Jones, Dolly Iukes, and Gladys Moses.

An evening service will be held Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Tulalip Gathering Hall. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gathering Hall with burial following at Mission Beach Cemetery.
