Monte passed away at home after a long battle with cancer, with his loving wife by his side. Monte was born in Glasgow, Montana and moved to Marysville, Washington in 1966 where he attended Marysville Pilchuck High.
He was preceded in death by his father, Palmer Nybo. He is survived by his wife, Jacque Nybo of Concrete, WA; son Taylor Nybo (Zabrina) of Concrete; step-son, Aaron Wheeler (Rebecca) of Silvana, WA, step-daughter, Lacey Wheeler of Marysville; grandchildren, August Nybo, Cole and Carson Wheeler, Abigail and Mason Wheeler; his mother, Betty Nybo of Marysville; sisters, Paulette Nybo Northup (Daryl) of Columbus, MT, Annette Nybo Kirk of Vancouver, WA, Shane Nybo (Logan) of Marysville; as well as many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
Monte and his friend Rodger Schemanauer formed a business, Can-Am Fabrication in September 1979. As well as his dedication to his business, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and his new love of flying his Sport Cub Plane. Last but not least he enjoyed his pets, Daisy, Dixie and Trixie.
Our family would like to express our appreciation to Hospice, especially Nadalee, for all their support. His family and friends will miss him deeply.
In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society prostate fund would be appreciated.
A celebration of Monte’s life will be held at his home in Concrete on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 11 – 4 pm. Food, family and friends.
