Norm was bigger than life to me as I knew him from the time I was a little girl. He went to school with my uncle Les "Seibert, work with my mother and he hired both of my brothers during summer months.Norm also gave alot to the community and its children-coaching little league, working on community youth projects and just being Norm. I remember big Norm and little Norm, that is a childhood memory. Norm was at Merrill Gardens where my mother was. I would go in to see her on Sunday's and take her to lunch and there would be Norm sitting at his corner table. The first words would be "where's my kiss sweetie." I would go over pat him on his head and kiss his forhead, had to do the same when I left. Norm was a good man, he served the Marysville community well and he will never be forgotten by those he coached and by those who were lucky enough to have called him dad, grampa and friend...

Norm was a very dear friend of ours. We are grateful for the times we had together with both him and his wife Debe. Over many hours of story telling (of which he was among the very best) and laughter, we came to know and love him like a brother. Always we will remember that love! - Rich and Jacque O.

Stormin' Norman,you sure had a major impact in my life,and the lives of my brothers! I'll always treasure the memories of "The River",fishing trips to Loon Lake in Canada,trolling pop gear at Lake Pearrygin and getting to miss school to do it!! I will always cherish those special times. My heartfelt condolences to Clint & the rest of your family.Rest in peace,old friend!!!

Norm was my Godfather.  I will remember his large stature and wondering smile.  He will truly be missed.  I know he will be having a beer with my Dad and catching up on old times.  RIP Norm.
