He loved hiking, nature, plants, creating art and the ocean. Javier also taught art classes in Marysville and Tulalip schools as a volunteer. Javier was an avid reader, and read every book he came across. He was very curious and always looking to grow his knowledge. He had a strong passion and was drawn to sci-fi topics and loved anything to do with aliens, ufos, and bigfoot.
He was one of 7 children. Preceded in death by his wife Enriqueta, his 5 siblings and his parents.
Survived by his children; Wendy, Sophia (James) and Javier, and his grandkids: Aitana, Oliver, and Levi, Daniela, Fiorella and Nicholas.
Javier touched many people’s lives throughout his life path and left a lasting memory. He will be greatly missed by many.
A celebration of his life will be held, Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.
