Raymond “Ray” B. Gunter, 39 of Marysville passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2011. Ray was born May 20 1971 in Concord, North Carolina to Ray Gunter and Margaret Landis. He graduated from Ferndale High School and attended Pacific Lutheran University. He was the store manager of the Marysville Auto Zone and an avid sports fan that loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was an active member of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) with Softball being his favorite past-time with NA.
Ray was the loving husband of Susan and a wonderful father to his six children, Jonathan, Heather, Kyle, Zachary, Austin and Samuel. His was the youngest of seven children leaving behind his six siblings, Mary, Karen, Pat, Pam, Angela and Glenn; one granddaughter and twenty-six nieces and nephews.
A private family burial service is being held at the Marysville Cemetery. A memorial service and a softball game to celebrate Ray’s life will be held at the Twin Rivers Park in Arlington on April 30th at 12:00p.m.
