Shirlee L Cox

Shirlee lived in the Everett Area since she was twelve years old. She married Dale Cox on August 12, 1950 and they would have married sixty three years this August. She is survived by her husband, Dale, daughters Susan Larson (Dean), Shelly Ayers (Kip), Stacy Connell (Mike), and son Steven Cox. She has twelve grand children and eleven great grand children. She is also survived by her sister Connie Smith and brother Don Staringer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Lucy Staringer, her sisters Kathy Wilson and Betty Staringer, and brother Richard Staringer.

Shirlee and Dale moved to the beach in in 1977. She loved the beach life and was always entertaining her family.. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, long walks, reading and knitting. She enjoyed her life so much!

She enjoyed her career in banking and worked until she retired (for a second time) at age seventy six.

We will miss her forever

Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, July 2 at 2:00 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. 9320 Meadow Way, Everett, Wa.
