Tammy Marie Hoffman passed away June 4, 2014, in Granite Falls, Wash. Tammy was born June 29, 1963, in Oakland, CA to James and Nancy Mello Shepherd. She attended High School at Mount Eden, Hayward, CA. Tammy married Mike Hoffman from Joliet, IL. December 3, 1992, and they were blessed with three children, Mikey, Melissa, and Matthew Hoffman. Tammy's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Mike; her three children, one grand child, Bryler Hoffman; four siblings, brothers, Phil Shepherd of Turlock, CA; and Duane Shepherd of San Lorenzo, CA; sisters, Sheila Shepherd and Becky Sturm. She is preceded in death by her father, James Arthur Shepherd; grandmother, Carnation Haberthur; and grandfather, Carl Haberthur. Visitation will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home of Marysville, Wash. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Red Cross in Tammy's memory.
