Carmen will be sadly missed by her two children, Cassandra and Michael (Jennifer), as well as grand-children Michaela (Michael), Crystal, Cody (Nancy), Savannah, Sienna and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Willow. She also leaves behind her beloved brothers, Doris Legault (Diane) and Jean Legault (Joanne), as well as her former spouse and close friend, Gilles Therrien (Monique).
She was born on May 8, 1947, in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. Carmen married and moved to Ontario in 1965, where she continued to live until a few months prior to her death, when she returned to Quebec.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aimé and Beatrice Legault, her sister Suzanne and her brother Gilles.
Carmen spent her life caring for her family, and could always be counted upon to provide love and kindness to those who knew her. She was an artist, who created beautiful pieces of art. She shared her talents with her friends and customers who frequented Carmen’s Ceramics, a business that she operated for many years until her retirement. In her later years, she was a spiritual scholar dedicated to reading and integrating spiritual reflection into her life.
In honor of Carmen’s last wishes, no visitation is scheduled. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring for her friends and family.
