Marie Antoinette Russo

Marie was born June 13, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to Giuseppe and Flavia Altobelli. She was devoted wife to Raphael Russo, proud mother to Joseph and Anne, loving grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eight. She was a member and friend of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Charlotte, a talented and passionate artist and poet, a kind, humorous and intrepid spirit.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at James Funeral Home in Massapequa. Funeral Service will follow on Friday, June 3 at 11:15 at St. Rose of Lima RC Church with interment at Pinelawn Cemetery to follow. Oh, so happy and so bright!

There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light.

When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;
