ROBERT R. GERMANN SR., on June 29, 2014 of Lindenhurst, New York. Beloved husband of Carol Germann, with almost 48 years of marriage. Loving father of Rob (Denise) Germann and Leiann (Rob) McGrory. Cherished grandfather of Daniel McGrory (3 1/2 years old) and Benjamin McGrory (1 1/2 years old). Adored brother of Lorraine Svensson. Robert and Carol shared everything, grew from dealing with problems and health issues and as the Bible says became one. Robert had a wonderful personality and joked around with everyone leaving a lasting impression on all. Robert worked as a folding machine operator, for a printing company in New Hyde Park. He enjoyed a good crossword puzzle, travel, cooking, and eating. Robert liked to help and printed the church bulletin for Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, New Hyde Park, was a faithful deliver of altar flowers at Easter to the sick and shut-in in his convertible. Along with his wife Robert helped to start and moderate the Long Island RLS, PLMD Support and Education Group. He enjoyed helping St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Long Island Housing Services with mailings. Robert was the greatest husband, father, provider, we will miss him terribly. Robert is survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
