Betty McDaniel

Betty McDaniel, 87, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on December, 4, 2016. Mrs. McDaniel was the widow of Warren “Jube” McDaniel who preceded her death in 1989. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by two daughters, Sherry McDaniel and Lisa Dyer, both of Maysville, KY. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Lauren Dyer and Logan Dyer both of Maysville, KY. Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother, with her family being the center of her life. She enjoyed floral arranging, traveling and rooting on her Louisville Cardinals. She made every day a special day and will be greatly missed. Winter was her favorite season and Christmas was her favorite holiday. Decorating for the holidays brought her much joy. Betty was a graduate of the Orangeburg High School. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 2, 1929 the daughter of the late Hiram and Sudie Moreland Grimes. Friends may gather with her family at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 to celebrate her life. Burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
