Mildred Stone

Mildred “Midge” Stone, 87, of Maysville, Kentucky died Sunday, December 01, 2013. She was the widow of the late Rev. Oval Stone. Mrs. Stone was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on July 24, 1926 the daughter of the late Norman and Bessie Conley Bowling. She was a member of the Maysville Church of the Nazerene. She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Bondarchuk of Maysville, KY and Brenda Whitener (Wesley Landon) of Powder Springs, GA; two grandchildren, Ashlie Branch and Christopher Whitener; five great grandchildren; one brother, Ray Bowling of Ashland, KY and one sister, Sudie Green of Wheelersburg, OH. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henderson Bowling and Ray Bowling and two sisters, Lillian Fender and Betty McCoy. Funeral services for Midge Stone will be held at the Maysville Church of the Nazerene at 12:00 PM, Monday, December 9, 2013 with Dr. Greg Rosser officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM and at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service.
