Allen Terrance "Terry" Jacobs Sr., age 71, of Jackson, Georgia passed away June 15, 2023. Terry was born June 21, 1951 in Georgetown, SC to the late James Carlon Jacobs, Sr. and Verdia Alethea Baxley Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Terrance Jacobs, Jr. and a sister, Donna Jacobs Lambert.
He was a graduate of Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC, Class of 1969. Terry worked in car parts and repair during his career and was an ordained minister. He was an accomplished musician and songwriter , played lead guitar and was a singer.
Survivors include his siblings, Sandra (Harold) McDowell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Carlon (Bonnie) Jacobs, Jr. of Georgetown, SC, Bobby (Sheryl) Jacobs, Sr. of Griffin, GA, Steve (Judy) Jacobs of Ft. White, FL and Cliff (Susan) Jacobs of McDonough, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 - 2:00 pm at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd., McDonough, GA 30252. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Pkwy. S., McDonough, GA 30253.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marfan Syndrome Foundation, 22 Manhasset Avenue, Port Washington, New York 11050, www.marfan.org in memory of Terry.
