Betty Elouise Lepley, born on May 8, 1946, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born in Lodi, OH to the late Harry Shriver and Priscilla Rupert. In addition to her mother and father Betty was greeted in Heaven by her stepfather Kenneth Rupert, her sisters Cindy Germscheid and Carolyn Christensen and her beloved husband Donald Lepley.
Betty enjoyed reading, quilting, and playing solitaire but her greatest love was for her family and church family at McDonough First United Methodist Church.
Betty's memory lives on through her children David (Lora) Lepley, Buffy Hanson, Paula (Rick) Shaw, Dan (Bonnie) Lepley and Pam Lepley. She is also survived by her sister Judy (Clyde) Burrows.
Betty was also blessed with 10 grandchildren: Josh, Erik, Kaylee, Monica, Drew, Heather, Holly, Seth, Hannah and Camryn as well 7 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at McDonough First United Methodist Church, located at 151 Macon St, McDonough, GA 30253 on January 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Her family will receive friends and guests one hour prior to service time.
