

Bonnie Faye (Osborn) Ryan passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia after a long illness. Bonnie was surrounded by her two sons, Bill Christian from Nashville, Tennessee and John Christian from McDonough, Georgia.
Bonnie was born in Oneida, Kentucky on May 16, 1949 and raised in Midland, Ohio. She later lived in Blanchester and Wilmington, Ohio then moved to McDonough, Georgia. Bonnie grew up on a farm in Midland where she was raised by her parents, Sam and Maudie Osborn along with her three older brothers, Bob, Jerry and Mike.
Bonnie loved growing up on the farm and was the mascot for her brother’s high school basketball team in the late 1950’s. Bonnie was very smart and a good student. She was also very active in school where she played the clarinet, participated in several high school plays and was a cheerleader for basketball and football teams.
Bonnie always considered having her two sons and raising a family her greatest accomplishment in life. Her boys and family always came first. She was a determined woman who sacrificed many things and at times worked two jobs to support her boys so they would have everything they needed growing up and to be successful in life.
Bonnie touched many lives throughout her life with her wit, humor, along with a caring and loving approach to life. Bonnie was a woman of strong faith and knew she was going to be with the Lord one day.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Maudie Osborn along with her husband, Tom Ryan. She is survived by her sons, Bill Christian, John (Lily) Christian, along with granddaughters, Danielle Christian, Amylyn Christian, Ashlyn Varvel, two great-grandchildren, Julian and Jayceon Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers, Bob (Violet) Osborn, Jerry (Carol) Osborn, and Mike (Margie) Osborn.
A visitation and service will take place at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA, 30253 on Saturday, February 8. The visitation will begin at 12 p.m. and the service will be held at 1 p.m.
