Buddy Clark Hembree, age 85, of McDonough, GA passed away Wednesday August 4, 2021. Born December 4th, 1935 in College Park, Georgia to Lynn and Ollie Hembree, he was the oldest of 5 children being followed by Kenneth, Mary Lynn, Roger and Phil (deceased). He was a man who put his family first and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife of 62 years, Sandra; his children Angie, Cheri (Cliff) and Steve; and grandchildren Austin, Samantha and Sydney. Buddy would serve 45 years as a faithful employee with Yancey Brothers, but his passion was found in sports; either as a player, coach, referee, or dedicated supporter of the teams of his children and grandchildren. He was a man that lived actively, laughed easily and loved completely. A memorial service for Buddy will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made to Wesley Way UMC, PO Box 2890 McDonough, Ga 30253.
