Mr. Carl Edward Hester, Jr., age 46, of Griffin, GA passed away on June 16, 2016. Carl was born in Atlanta, GA the son of Carl and Janet Hester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ellerbee Hester. Carl enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, his dogs, talking and being an avid Alabama Fan. Survivors are his children, Justin Hester (Amanda) of McDonough, Haylee Hester of Temple, and Landon Hester of McDonough; granddaughters, Abigail and Fiona of McDonough; parents are Carl and Janet Hester of McDonough; siblings, Windy Hester of McDonough, Cindy Corbitt of McDonough and Stephanie Salter of Taylorsville, KY; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Carl will be on Monday, June 20, 2016 – 3:00 PM at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 Hwy 212, and Covington, GA 30014 with Pastor Frank Daws officiating.
