Charlie Cary Mitchell

Mr. Charlie Cary Mitchell, age 73 of McDonough, Georgia passed away May 8, 2019. He was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late John and Ramona Cooper Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Mitchell. Charlie faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Jenkins High School and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his grandchildren, his puppies and playing poker. Survivors include his daughters, Melissa Burrowbridge and Jennifer (Brian) Mueller; grandchildren, Matthew Burrowbridge, Andrew Burrowbridge, Zackary Mueller, Alyssa Mueller and Haley Burrowbridge; great grandchildren, Drew Burrowbridge and Addie Grace Burrowbridge. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 – 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to your local humane society in memory of Charlie.
