Christopher Fox was one of those rare souls that always wanted others to be happy. Chris can best be described as helpful, giving and selfless. He would do whatever he could to see that others had what they needed. Chris may have been a soft spoken man but he found joy and humor in many things. He enjoyed Cajun food, walking his goats and donkey and classic rock & roll. Chris was a master craftsman who built beautiful furniture. Saturdays in the fall were spent cheering on his LSU Tigers whether they were struggling or steamrolling to a National Championship. Chris also enjoyed the drama of the WWE. A match featuring Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown was always a favorite.
What Chris loved most of all was his family. On Wednesday November 10, 2021 Christopher Wade Fox left this world and was reunited with his parents Rufus and Marjorie. Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his wife of 11 years Eden, his daughter Amber and son-in-law Ilya and their children Christopher, Lily and Alina. It is said that there is no greater love than for one's grandchildren and Chris was no exception. He is also survived by Eden's daughter Leah, two sisters-in-law and his mother-in-law.
A memorial service for Chris will be held at Haisten Funerals and Cremations on Friday November 19, 2021 at 5 PM.
In keeping with Chris's desire to help others, the family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
