Clayton Roger Wiggins

Mr. Clayton Roger Wiggins, age 74 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 17, 2018. He was born in Plant City, Florida to the late Egbert and Maudie Lea Rowland Wiggins. He was preceded in death by siblings, Harry Wiggins, Vern Wiggins, Jerry Wiggins, Hazel Waltman, Parklyn Lewis and Joseph Wiggins. Clayton faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 25 years with Florida Rock Industries. Clayton enjoyed working in his shop, cooking, hunting, fishing and sports. He loved coaching Little League, and above all else, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Wiggins; children, Tracey (Trevor) Conkey of Newnan and Scott (Tammy) Wiggins of Hampton; grandchildren, Hailey (Tim) Carr, Bryce Wiggins, McKenna Wiggins, Aerleigh Wiggins, Brittni (Hank) Ward, Tyler Lane and Chris (Kristen) Martin; great grandchildren, Tucker Ward, Tanner Ward, Beau Lane, Cooper Martin and J.J. Martin; brother, Donald Andrews Wiggins of Madison. He will also be missed by many adopted children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 – 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
