Colleen & J.D. were our neighbors in Marshall, NC for many years. My wife Lyn and I would check in on them quite often or play card games with them. She is now with J.D. resting peacefully. Our condolences to the family.

Mom never ceased to amaze me....one way or the other (eye roll). I came across this text she sent me in October 2017 - so she was 84 years old at the time. Sure do miss you mama!

Aunt Colleen was like a second mother to me. She and I would take each other to appointments and have lunch together. She was wonderful to just sit and talk to. I will truly miss her. She painted some amazing things for me that I will keep forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a wonderful time with her in Toccoa and seeing her smiling face every Sunday in our class also. I have such wonderful memories of a beautiful sweet lady. God truly blessed me when she became a member of our class and we became friends.
