Daniel Fred McAlister, age 94, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Dan was born November 22, 1927 in Decatur, Tennessee to the late James Andrew and Maggie Elizabeth Brown McAlister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Eloise Brown McAlister and his siblings. He retired from GFA Freightlines and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Dan loved to go fishing and work on cars. Survivors include his children, Sandra McAlister (Donald) Scott, Karen McAlister Smith, Fred McAlister and Donna McAlister (Gary) Terry; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
