David Earle Wilson

Mr. David Earle Wilson, age 67 of Rex, Georgia passed away October 2, 2020. He was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Guy Harris Wilson, Sr. and Martha Virginia Pace Wilson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Suzan Wilson. David graduated from Sylvan Hills High School, Class of 1971 and faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He retired as an analyst after 30 years with the Department of the Army. David was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and all sports. Survivors include his sons, D.J. (Ali) Wilson of Hampton and Zach Wilson of McDonough; grandchildren, Andrew Kohl, Alana Glaze and Tannah Wilson; brothers, Guy (Bette) Wilson of Opelika, AL and Pete (Barbara) Wilson of Daytona Beach, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 - 11:00 am at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 1041 Church St., Bostwick, Georgia 30623.
