She is survived by her three children: Eugene Craig (Stephanie), Christy Donaldson (Michael), and Cathy Stevens (Mark). Dee was a proud grandmother to Logan Jackson, Taylor Wilkins, Haley Craig, Madison York, Brianna Donaldson, Ree Donaldson, Nikki Stevens, and Cameron Stevens. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. In addition, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Dee was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Barfield; her father, B.F. Barfield; and her sister, Wanda Bracewell.

A licensed hairdresser, Dee used her skills not only professionally but also as another way to care for others. Whether styling a friend’s hair or helping someone feel special, she had a gift for making people feel seen and appreciated.

Always ready to lend a helping hand in her community, Dee generously offered her time to others through yard work, babysitting, and any act of kindness she felt could make someone’s day a little easier. She found great joy in helping those who needed her, and her giving spirit left a lasting impact on countless lives.

A celebration of her life will be organized at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory.
