Edna A. Arnold

Mrs. Edna Ann Arnold, age 84, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on May 23, 2016. Ann was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Austin Sr. and Emmie Kaylor Adams. She spent most of her working career working as a hand line operator for Gordon Foods. Ann was known for her loving personality, never met a stranger, and would do anything for anyone. Known for having the prettiest yard and a well decorated house, Ann took great pride in creating a loving home. Her greatest pride and joy was her family, whom she enjoyed spending time with. Ann always put her kids and family before herself and would go with out to make sure they had the very best. Ann leaves behind her children, Brenda Foster, Sandra Patterson, Sherry Ware, Jerry Couch, and Gary Couch; grandchildren, Ashley Reum, Victor Lackey, Tammy Evans, Candy Matthews, Shannon Kelly, Kevin Patterson, Jeremy Couch, Cayla Couch, and Mackenzie Couch; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, William and Emmie Adams; all her brothers and sisters; and two grandsons, Scott Lackey and David Ware, proceeded her in death. A Funeral Service to honor Ann’s life will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 beginning 11:00 am in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough with Gary Couch and Joe Mauthe officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
