Mrs. Ellen Corrinne Holmberg, age 72 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away February 12, 2021 after a long illness. She was born in Urbana, IL to the late Clarence Lester and Wanda Jeannette Yardley Key. Ellen graduated from Champaign Central High School, Class of 1966 and received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois in 1971. Ellen was a Registered Pharmacist for 40 years and retired from Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed making crafts and sewing. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Brad Holmberg of Locust Grove, GA; daughter, Kate (Chris) McGowan of McDonough, GA; son, Eric (Chrissy) Holmberg of Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Bailey, Atticus, Jack, Cash, Nicole and Ethan; sisters, Kellee Fisher of Glenview, IL and Leslee Dimke of Winnebago, IL. Interment will be on May 8 at 11 A.M. at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, IL.
