Gaylon William "Bill" Elliott, Jr., 83 of McDonough passed away October 27, 2020. He was born in Mentcle, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1937 to Gaylon and Lula Elliott. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Lee Elliott, son Paul William Elliott and a sister, Nettie Mae Pickup. Bill was an 'AWESOME' airplane mechanic for 45 years working for Pan Am and then Delta. He loved working in the yard, receiving yard of the month awards. Junior enjoyed working on cars, wave runners and car shows. He also enjoyed decorating for Christmas and Halloween. Bill loved his family, children and great grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Bob (Susan) Elliott of Oregon, Deb (Steve) Hunter of New York and Michelle Fidler of McDonough, grandchildren, Andrea Kirkpatrick, Neil Elliott, Nicole Hunter, Marissa Fidler, Marc Fidler and three great grandchildren, Connor and Carson Kirkpatrick and Madisyn Elliott. Mr. Elliott is also survived by his brother, Jim (Jackie) Elliott of Florida, a sister Judy (Randy) Woods of Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held.
