Harvey Raymond Thweatt Sr.

Mr. Harvey Raymond Thweatt, age 83, of Sparta, GA passed away March 2, 2018. Ray was born in Kosciusko, MS the son of the late Cleo Chappell Thweatt and Harvey George Thweatt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Wiles Thweatt and a brother, Frank Thweatt.

Ray served his country in the US Navy. He retired from FAA as an electrical engineer and from Georgia Power. He was a member of the Riverdale Masonic Lodge #709. Ray was known for remodeling and always working on his house, he enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and was an avid GA Bulldog Fan.

Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Raye Anne and Rick Spinks of Covington and a son, Harvey Raymond Thweatt Jr of Riverdale. He has 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
