Jackie was born on November 26, 1933, in Dooling, Georgia to Conrad and Ruby Daves. She had three older sisters and a younger sister and brother, who have all preceded her in death.
Jackie is survived by her four children: Ronald Pyle (Cindy) of Greenville, South Carolina, Stephen Pyle (Shirley) of Williamson, Georgia, Sharon Moore Gowdy of Walnut Creek, California, and Deborah Blanton (Brad) of Ringgold, Georgia. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, who all loved her very much and will deeply miss their "Babo." She dearly loved all her family and was very involved in their lives. She acknowledged their birthdays and texted with them until shortly before her death. She loved looking at the pictures they sent her on her iPad. (Jackie was a tech-savvy grandmother!) Most importantly, she prayed for all of them.
On Friday, March 7th, Jackie was reunited with her husband, Norman, who preceded her in death eight years ago. They faithfully served the Lord together all 65 years of their marriage. Jackie was a devoted pastor's wife for more than 43 years at Bible Baptist Church of Hampton, Georgia. She loved singing in the choir and special groups and mentoring and teaching the ladies of Bible Baptist. When she was no longer able to attend church, she remained a faithful prayer warrior for her church friends and family. One of her favorite things to do each week was to watch the Bible Baptist services online, again using her iPad.
A funeral service will be held at Bible Baptist Church in Hampton, Georgia on Friday, March 14th, at 11:00 am. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 am. Jackie will be buried next to her husband in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Georgia.
