Mr. Jake Charles Stone, age 95 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away August 24, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and faithfully served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He and his wife, Lois owned and operated an upholstery business in Atlanta, reupholstering furniture, making curtains and covering church pews. Jake was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hill Stone. His sole survivor is his God-daughter, Glenda House of McDonough. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2016 – 10:00 am at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. Pastor Dave Riley will officiate.
