Mr. John Andrew Jones, age 68 of McDonough, Georgia passed away July 10, 2015. He was born in Memphis, TN to the late Dewey Andrew and Virginia Lee Horton Jones. John faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after 32 years as a diesel mechanic and was a Mason. He enjoyed classic rock music, motorcycles and guns. Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Dan Stott of McDonough; grandchildren, Jordan and Jeremy Stott; brothers, Jim and Howard Jones both of Lithia Springs; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Trinity Chapel South, 1957 Highway 42 South, McDonough, GA 30253 in memory of John.
