Laura was my  beautiful first born daughter.   There are no words to  express the joy she brought.  Precious child, my heart is broken.  I love you.  

Laura was a very sweet person who I am glad to say, was very good to my children, and she was always nice to me and welcomed me to her home. I’m very sorry to the family who are grieving, I pray that God sends you peace during this trying time. - Mary

Laura was a big part of my childhood.  I remember spending summers with Dad and Laura.  Laura always treated us like her own kids.  She was always active and encouraging.  Even when I would do things to embarrass her (like hiding under the chairs at the hospital when she was going into labor with Chris) she always treated me with kindness and care.  The world's a littler colder knowing she's not here anymore.  Rest and Peace.  You will be missed.

     Laura was my step-mom and I have many fond memories of her. She was an excellent cook and worked hard to scrub her dishes clean, especially drinking glasses. She would hold them up in the light with her scrub brush and get every single, little smudge. She taught me how to wash glass with care. 
     I remember she always would let me play dress up in her high heels. She had a ton of heels hanging in an organizer on the inside of her closet and on the floor. She would always give me a certain amount of pairs I could play with and I thought I was big stuff strutting around in those heels. 
     We had great conversations about life and relationships. She was easy to talk to and never pushed her opinion but simply presented the facts. I never remember hearing her yell and she had a very hearty laugh. 
     I hate I didn’t get to say goodbye but I delight in the hope of seeing her again one day. 
     Laura, I love you and miss you. It had been too long since we had seen each other and your passing has taught me to not let long times go in between visits with family and friends. I’m sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye but I have and will continue to think of you often.  Xoxoxo

Laura was my Aunt Marty’s oldest daughter.  When they would come visit in summer it was one of my happiest times. She, our cousin Debbie and I would hang out with complete disdain of our younger sisters- Julie, Bridget and Marie. Their only sin was being a younger sister. I have fun memories of the past times together. I just wish I would  have fought her harder to get back in touch with her. I love you Bratface❤️

The definition of obituary is written in a way that sounds cold. This obituary will be the opposite. Laura Bolt was so much more than just my Mom.  She was a mother to many, a wife, a sister, a daughter. She was warmth, she was sleep-tight, sweet-dreams, don't let the bed bugs bite.  She was self sacrificing for her family. She always put family first. She was a great mom, even through the worst, and the cold is what we were left with, not in our hearts, nor our minds, but found in her absence.
I love you Mom, until the end of time, and to the moon and back. Thank you.

There are no words to describe my mother. Her affection and warmth could be described by everyone she met. The lives that she touched through her love of animals and compassion for life in all of it's forms is unparalleled in every other person I've ever known. The love she shared with her family and friends will always be remembered and cherished forever. There are no words.
