Mrs. Lillian Irene Atkinson, age 78 of McDonough, Georgia passed away May 18, 2016. She was born in Benton, Tennessee to the late Gordon and Pauline Emma Donahoo Adams. She was preceded in death by a son, Lamar Kent Ramsey in 1996, her husband Harry Atkinson in 2014 and by a sister, Rinda DeGraw in 2016. Lillian was an accomplished individual, carrying licenses in real estate, insurance, cosmetology and nearly in radiology. She was a member of New Covenant Church and the Moose Club. She was an avid reader who loved to learn. She enjoyed casinos, Bingo and shopping. Survivors include her children, Bruce Ramsey of Griffin and April (Terry) Bacorn of Covington; grandchildren, Michael, Leslie, Brian, Brandon, Kenny, Jennifer, Sabrina and Clint; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Puckett of TN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 – 11:00 am at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Watkins will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
