Lorna attended Pentecostal Tabernacle in Kingston, Jamaica where she was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost. After migrating to the United States, she attended Pentecostal Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Hartford, Connecticut. In her later years she attended Gospel Assembly Church in Lithonia, Georgia. Wherever she was, she was always ready to lend a helping hand, volunteer her time, or offer words of encouragement.
Lorna’s passions included her love for flowers, and she could often be heard telling her friends and loved ones to give her all her roses while she was still alive. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Friends and family enjoyed her pleasant, welcoming personality and always looked forward to being guests in her home to enjoy her tasty meals.
