Mr. Marion Horace Major, age 93 of Hoschton, Georgia passed away May 19, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Edgar and Mary Lizzie Phillips Major. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Fannie Lou Ford Major on April 22, 2021. Horace faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. He has been a member of Local Union 48 for 67 years and retired after over 37 years as an insulator. He was known as Mr. Fix-It to those in need of repairs and Papo to his loving grandchildren. He loved being outdoors and working in his yard. Survivors include his children, Jimmy (Jan) Major, Debbie (Rusty) Conner and Nancy Major all of Hoschton; grandchildren, Michael (Natalie) Sneed and Michelle Yancey; step grandchildren, Rusty Conner, Jr; great grandchildren, Alaina, Ashlynn and Ava Sneed and Lacie Yancey; step-great granddaughter, Kylie Conner; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved kitty, Buster. Friends may visit the family Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the funeral home with a graveside service to follow at 12:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
