Mr. Marshall Ernest Bramlett, age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 9, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Willie and Doris Craig Higginbotham Bramlett. He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Bramlett. He owned and operated Georgia Roofing and Metal Company for 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the lake and had a great work ethic which he passed on to his family and associates. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Opal G. Bramlett; children, Deborah (Charlie) Freeze of Dacula, Don (Lucinda) Bramlett of McDonough, Kay Bramlett of McDonough, Mark (Sandy) Bramlett of Marietta; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, Gene (Eloise) Higginbotham of Hiram and Jack Higginbotham of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 – 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes, 2048 Youngs Mill Road, LaGrange, GA 30241 in memory of Mr. Bramlett.
