Mr. Michael Stephen Bagwell “Peanut”, age 67, of McDonough, GA passed away July 23, 2015. Peanut was born in Fulton County. He served his country in the US Army. He worked most of his working career as a mechanic. Peanut enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, sports and watching western TV shows. He was preceded in death by his father, James JR Bagwell, brothers, Joe and Jim Bagwell. Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Pascha and Bryant Powell of Locust Grove; son, Michael Bagwell of McDonough; mother, Betty Campbell of McDonough; grandchildren, Brad Davis, Matthew Davis, Marissa Powell and Bransen Powell; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service for Peanut will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 – 3:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Dan McKay officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral one hour prior to the service from 2:00 -3:00 PM.
