Michael (Mikey) Andrew McGinley, 68, of McDonough, GA, passed away on February 7, 2022. Mikey was born on January 20, 1954 in North Hollywood, California. Mikey moved and lived in many places throughout his life which fueled his love for travel. Mikey spent his life as a truck driver traveling across the United States. Mikey dedicated his life to freight hauling for over 30 years. He will be missed by all his friends and coworkers of 27 years at Mid South Transport. When he wasn’t on the road, he could be found at home watching football (Go Dawgs) or in his jeep up on a mountain with his family and friends. He is survived by Rick and Susan Mock, Mallory (Dillon) McCormack, Houston (Delane) Mock, Josh (Jana) Mock as well as his favorite nieces and nephews, Austin, Bryson, Bella, John-Tucker, Mason and Maverick.
The family will greet friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org on behalf of our friend Mikey.
