Mildred Virginia Cox, 86 of Temple, Georgia passed away December 22, 2020. She was born November 10, 1934 in Decatur, Georgia to Frank and Margaret Patterson. Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Willis Morgan Cox. She was an avid Bible reader and researcher and enjoyed crocheting. Mildred was a bookkeeper for many years at Southern Door and Plywood and Reece HVAC. She was a ladies Sunday school teacher for many years. Mrs. Cox was a loving, Godly mother to Michael (Judy) Cox of Jackson, Georgia, Phyllis (Johnny) Truelove of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Denise (Steve) Arnold of Cabot, Arkansas and Robin (Jeff) Pemberton of LaGrange, Georgia. Eleven grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Brooke (David) McIntyre, Faith (Quentin) Johnson, Jeremy (Katie) Truelove, Salina (Kevin) Hake, Jennifer Moore, Christy (Jacob) Brown, Buddy (Carlie) Skyrme, Lee Pemberton, William (Kaylee) Pemberton and Carla Wilson. Thirty seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sister, Pauline Peterson of Stockbridge, GA and Ellen (Freddy) Dow of Tampa, Florida. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm on Sunday, December, 27, 2020 at Honey Creek Baptist Church in Conyers. Pastor Robert Vines will officiate Mrs. Cox's funeral service at 1:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park, Georgia.
