Nancy Moore Dean

Mrs. Nancy Moore Dean, age 80, of McDonough, Ga passed away August 28, 2018 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Survivors are her husband, Earl Dean and daughters, Cheri Durrett, Betty Coogler, Kristen Toumbleston and their families.

Nancy was born on September 22, 1937 the daughter of the late Harry and Veda Mae Moore in Kentucky. Nancy married Earl Dean in June of 1959 and moved to Georgia shortly thereafter in 1968 with their two daughters, Cheri and Betty and had Kristen later that same year.

She was a resident of south-side of Atlanta since 1968, Nancy was a member at Pinecrest Baptist Church and later at Glen Haven Baptist Church. Nancy shared her love of Jesus and the Bible in both churches by teaching a ladies Sunday School Class at Pinecrest and teaching Vacation Bible School at Glen Haven.

Nancy will not only be remembered for her work in church, but she will also be remembered for her love of books, crafts and accessories.

There will be a private graveside service for family only on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
