Ralph Smith Sr., age 90, of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 1, 2024. He was born December 23, 1933 in McDonough, Georgia to the late Rebecca Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Lee Slaughter Smith; son, Ralph "June" Smith, Jr.; daughters, Georgia Mae Slaughter and Brenda Lee Patterson. Survivors include his children, Jerry Smith, Tony (Marquita) Smith, Ronnie Smith, Anne Jackson, Thelma L. Smith, Rebecca Glover and Betty (Calvin) Pearson; grandson, Ronnie (Rosemary) Smith; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 - 11:00 am at the Rose Garden Cemetery in McDonough. Rev. James Miller will officiate. Friends may visit the family Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough.
