Rebecca Lynn McGee (James F. Archer), age 55 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 20, 2015. She was born in Homestead, Florida to Thomas and Patricia Therber Archer. She received an Associate’s in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary and attended the First Baptist Church of McDonough. Rebecca enjoyed painting, camping, the beach, SCI-FI movies and was a writer. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jeanette Gilbert. Survivors include her husband, Kevin McGee of McDonough; parents, Thomas and Patricia Archer of McDonough; brothers, John (Renee) Archer of Newport News, VA, Jeffrey (Amy) Archer of Mandeville, LA and Joseph (Tina) Archer of McDonough; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Charles Thomas will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
